Relationship Tips for the Holidays
Relationship Tip #4: Write a new affirmation every day and keep them handy.
An affirmation is a positive thought you choose to immerse into your consciousness for a desired result. During the holidays, you may need an “arsenal” of affirmations to remind you of your best self, especially if you find yourself reverting to behaviors and habits that you thought you had healed long ago. The holidays can stir our inner child and we can find ourselves reacting to family members in ways that surprise us.
Here are three affirmations to get you started:
I appreciate and acknowledge my own strengths.
I now give to myself what I think I need from others. (This could include understanding, compassion, respect, or joy.)
I believe in my own goodness and intellect. I no longer need others to validate me.

and Thrive
Enough is Enough!
Are you hindered by fearful, limiting thoughts like:
I'm not smart enough . . .
It's too late for me . . .
I can't do this alone . . .
Do you long for more joy, challenge, or fulfillment? Does life just feel too difficult? When you merely endure life, you are surviving, not thriving. You feel resigned rather than inspired. And chances are you know something is missing . . . but you don't know what to do about it.
